
A Bryant native with ambitions to entertain has been dancing and singing since the young age of three.
With professional vocal training from Henderson State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre
and Dance from UALR, she trained under the renowned Kathleen Majewska, former ballerina with the
All Nations Ballet in New York City; Dot Callenan-Gravett, former professional dancer; and the late
Lorraine Cranford of Ballet Arkansas.To her professional credits; work at Murry's Dinner Playhouse and
the Weekend Theatre in such musicals as Singin' in the Rain, Oklahoma, and Cabaret. She continues her
work with UALR as head Theatre and Dance instructor for the UALR Summer Arts Program.
Brooke opened Bk's in 1997 as a teacher/choreographer/vocal coach. Her students have won numerous
regional and national awards as well as honored with the Top Teacher Award in 2003, 2004, 2005.
Brooke's vocal students and herself have also won several contests. She also coaches technique for the
Bryant High School Dance Team, (as State Champions for the past 5 years) and many other regional junior
high & high school dance teams.
"BAM" - the only word that can accurately describe Brooke and Meredith. You can not say one name without
the other. The "Dynamic Duo" met in college and quickly became best friends "conjoined at the hip'" They have
come together to start BAM Dance Productions, a competitive dance program at BK's Dance & Tumbling. "We
always knew we would work together in the arts, and here we are - BAM!" says Brooke.
Brooke and Meredith (BAM), joined forces in August of 2004. Together in their first year, they took their dancers
all the way to 3rd Overall Nationally! They are accomplished teachers and choreographers in their own right,
but together they are working even harder and having a great time doing it.

her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Dance from UALR. She has trained extensively in the Horton and Graham techniques under the world renowned Dianne Maroney, of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in New York City; her ballet training from the renowned Kathleen Majewska; former ballerina with the All Nations Ballet in New Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cabaret, Dance '96, '97 and '98. She currently travels the United States with the largest & most respected dance competition 3 weekends a month during the competition season. She has taught master classes and / or choreographed nationally award winning routines in such states as California, Michigan, Louisiana, Mississippi, just to name a few. Meredith has also won Top Teacher Awards in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2005. She is also a technique coach and / or choreographer for several regional junior high and high school dance teams.
